Do they have confidence? Unfortunately, yes. And they aren’t coming alone. As part of a special crossover event with Party in My Dorm, a new wave of players is about to hit the city! They’ll be arriving through a boosted new-player experience designed to help them settle in, meet their first Roomies and start building their influence quickly. Consider this your official warning: campus is coming to the city 🎸🏙️ tl;dr The Party In My City crossover event is bringing a wave of new players into Single City! Crossover players will begin on brand-new boosted accounts at Living Room Level 10 with four Roomies unlocked, along with special quests, progression rewards, Starter Avatars, shop boosts and more! Existing Single City players can help welcome the newcomers, join the fresh-start fun and take advantage of new content arriving throughout the crossover! How To Participate The boosted crossover experience is available by starting a ✨brand-new Single City account✨ during the event. This fresh account is required to access the crossover progression track and link to a PIMD account for rewards in both games. That means existing Single City accounts cannot enter this boosted City, and City transfers will not be available. Again, both inbound and outbound transfers are disabled for this special event City, so everyone joins in the fun together! HOW TO JOIN Start a brand new account in Single City. For instructions on how to disconnect your device from your current Single City account, see here! Follow the brand new tutorial "Welcome to Single City" (pro-tip, you'll get lots of freebies and boosts from opening the Welcome Box - a reward completing this!). Open the new Crossover tab within Stories. Follow the crossover quests and increase your Living Room Level to earn rewards! These items can be purchased using Gems and provide timed boosts to different abilities, giving players more ways to accelerate their progress. Choose your boosts, plan your upgrades and keep that clout climbing. 📣 Block Captains A fresh wave of players means a fresh wave of questions. That’s where our Block Captains come in! Block Captains are experienced Single City vets who have volunteered to help newcomers learn the game, find their footing and navigate life in the city. They're advocates of the community and are here to help! They may help with: Answering new-player questions Explaining progression and upgrades Sharing practical early-game tips Helping players connect with active Crews Making the city feel a little less intimidating Newcomers: don’t be afraid to ask for help!
