Become a Single City Block Captain 🏙️ Citizens of Single City! We’re looking for experienced, community-minded players with leadership experience to help welcome a wave of new citizens into Single City during an upcoming special crossover event with Party in My Dorm! With so many new players moving into this special world all at once, things are bound to get busy, exciting, and maybe a little dramatic 🤏🏽 That’s exactly why we're going to need Block Captains: friendly, knowledgeable players who can help newcomers settle in, learn the ropes, and discover what makes Single City such a fun place to call home. If you participated in the recent Heckin' Dragons in My Dorm crossover event and had the pleasure of working with some Sages, Block Captains are the Single City version of those cool cats aka a slightly more iconic version 😉 Becoming a Block Captain is a temporary, but very important event role and a highly valued position within the community. You’ll lead your own Crew (with boosts and special perks!), mentor new players through their first steps in Single City, answering questions, create a welcoming environment, and show them how to make the most of city life. When done well, your contribution can help set a strong foundation for new players to stick around, grow, and bring fresh excitement into Single City! In return, selected Block Captains will receive exclusive rewards, a front-row seat to a special crossover event, and the chance to help shape the next wave of Single City players. The Ask We’re asking selected players to take on a limited-time commitment during the crossover event to help support and guide incoming players. Your role is simple: Lead your own Crew (we'll provide you with special boosts and perks to speed up Crew growth and encourage participation!) Help new players learn how Single City works Answer questions and share helpful tips Encourage activity, progression, and community Create a welcoming, friendly, and fun environment Help new players feel like they’ve found their place in the city This isn’t a forever commitment, and we’re not asking you to be online 24/7. We’re looking for players who are willing to show up consistently, be helpful, and bring good energy while the event is running. What You’ll Be Doing Welcome New Neighbors A lot of incoming players may be brand new to Single City! They’ll be starting on boosted accounts that skip the early levels and will have a much shorter tutorial so having great community leaders aka Block Captains will be hugely beneficial in showing these newbies the ropes! Teach these new players how to progress, how different systems work, and what they should focus on first. You’ll help them get their bearings and feel less lost in the city. Share Tips and Guidance You don’t need to know every tiny detail by heart, but you should be comfortable explaining core gameplay and progression, offering advice, hacks and tips, and pointing players in the right direction when they have questions. Keep Your Crew Active Block Captains should help keep things lively and positive. That could mean answering questions, starting conversations, encouraging players to keep progressing, or helping them understand what to do next. Be a Friendly, Steady Presence We’re looking for players who can help make the community feel approachable. A good Block Captain is patient, welcoming, and excited to help new players enjoy the game. Stay Connected With Us Selected Block Captains will be invited into a special Discord channel where ATA devs can share information, gather feedback, and help support you during the event! How Long Will This Last? This is a limited-time role for the duration of the crossover event, with the busiest and most important period happening at the start. Launch Window (Week 1-2) This is when new players will need the most help. Expect more questions, more activity, and more opportunities to help people get settled. Growth Phase (Week 3-4) Once players start finding their footing, your focus will shift toward keeping them engaged, answering follow-up questions, and helping them continue progressing. Later Event Period (Month 2) By this point, many players should be more comfortable in the city. Your role will be to keep offering support, encouragement, and guidance where needed.
