Hey Singles! We've heard your feedback around last time's launch of Rad Rivals and we're happy to share some improvements we've made starting alongside next event this Thursday, July 8th! 👉 Instead of stashes appearing in basketball courts and dance floors, they will appear in regular buildings for easier access! (Rivals will still be summoned close to where you've dropped your Lava Lamp or Tempting Champagnes. ) 👉 Rivals are crew-locked and last hit rewards are working as designed. If a player is not in a crew and summons a Rival, the Rival will be locked to that player only. If that player joins a crew after they've summoned a Rival, the Rival won't be owned by the crew. This means that the only way this player can get last hit rewards is if they deliver the last hit themselves. If a player is in a crew and summons a Rival, the Rival will be locked to the crew. If that player leaves the crew, the Rival continues to be accessible only to the members of the crew. This means that the spawning player gets the last hit reward when any former crew member defeats the Rival – even if the spawning player is no longer in the crew. 📝 Some things to keep in mind: 👉 Because stashes will be appearing in regular PVE buildings, there are far more buildings available so you might have to keep looking around a bit to find a building with the stashes.👉 Most buildings will have either Lava Lamp stashes or Tempting Champagne stashes; not both. It wasn't broken to start with and I think the shop nodes for chads is one of the worst update ideas... Can we fix actual broken things instead of changing the stuff we actually already liked 🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️🤦🏽♀️
What do you mean “last hit rewards” 😭 don’t take away our quest perks. The spawner needs guaranteed rewards or else it’s not worth it
This addresses the rads but what about the lack of energy? When can we expect that we will have a way to gather energy tokens? Maybe we can use the dance floors and basketball courts for gathering energy tokens? I feel like free to play players will be at an extreme disadvantage.
I’m not sure why rad event is even being changed… why are you wasting time fixing things no one thinks is broken? Great y’all have a new event idea but why not just make this a different event. Making it a hunt event rather than a rad event bc it’s not like we have a lot of variety in our events. This way we would have decor event, trade event, rad event and then this NEW idea. I mean if I’m spending 999 gems on a damn lava lamp I sure don’t wanna waste time having to look for a stupid node.
Rad is great and so is having Energy tokens. I mean we all can't keep buying energy tokens EVERY Rad event 💀.
Are the nodes going to be permanently locked to a person or crew after they find it like the last time you did this? That made it extremely unfair to any crews that didn't find a lava lamp before other crews locked them all down
ATA, come on, we dont want this change, we want RAD in the way it has been. Like someone said before, dont fix what is not broken!
The players of single city appreciate what the devs are doing when you guys listen to our feedback. It makes us feel heard and want to spend more time on your app. With that being said - I know when you guys tried to drop this update before that all of wc disliked it. We don’t enjoy how the rads we spawn are close to locations you find the nodes at because people are having to travel 5+ minutes to find a spawn point. We don’t enjoy having to go look for a node to begin with when the quest system worked so perfectly. Most of us are wanting to see you guys finish furniture sets that aren’t complete rather than downgrade the rad event with these updates. We were happy when devs decided to just roll back the update upon first launch with all the bugs a few weeks ago. Please read what we say here (and in wc) regarding the event and take into consideration the fact that you don’t necessarily *have* to release this update. Thank you for reading!
