I shared this in the event feedback form but since then we’ve had 4 gem spend events… we’re looking at one every other day and that is just too many. Who is gonna stick with the game if it is solely pay to win right from the start? One straightforward fix would be to run gem events as a secondary event, like tomorrows schedule, but take the leaderboard drinks out of it: one fair contest (that can still be influenced by spend) and one bonus for ticket rewards and compulsive joiners. Doubt it would affect how much ata makes near term that much, and would keep folks like me happy who want to be active but will not stay in a game that’s solely pay to win, which has never been the secret sauce for ata anyway.
