Hi, I think it’s very unfair to only have leaderboard rewards for up to 15th place for this Good vs Evilyn event. My city, 142, has over a thousand competitive citizens and even those who work hard at this event cannot place for rewards. I had been running on minimal sleep myself and working hard, yet I couldn’t get further than 17th place. I truly think there should be rewards spots for 5% of the city’s population. Many people I have talked to are also upset about this and have given up on trying as much because of it. We also collectively discussed how the event should be shorter, perhaps a Friday through Monday event. Many people here, as I stated, are competitive. So in the fear of losing time to earn points against other players who might be awake while they’re asleep, they all end up sleep deprived. I don’t think this behavior can be curbed honestly, but the event can be shorter so that citizens of single city aren’t going too long without good rest.
I agree ^ it should be percentage based not just a flat number otherwise why bother trying when it’s so hard. I was at 12-13 and I stopped because the only way to maintain that was to play nonstop and I have a family who needs me to be present. The event would be funner if it was shorter to be honest. It drags on and becomes tedious
I am honestly one of the ones who have exhausted themselves trying to uphold my leaderboard position!! Just trying to stay in top 10, has been hard, but I had to sleep which lost my place cause of others feeling they need to stay up all night! Yes top 10 would be good enough but, I feel for this extensive of an event, and Black Friday by itself, it should not be about having to spend money to win, or having to push yourself so hard, cause on top of it all, a lot of people can’t afford to do as much as the next and it could discourage them very much. (Yes, I understand BF is a spending holiday but not everyone has this luxury) just at LEAST maximize the rewards and do more for others who don’t have capabilities to go to extensive lengths.
