I mistakenly recycled the only furniture item I had for a room, and now I can’t progress. What do I do?
Furniture is cycled through in the shop every day that you can purchase with Home Decor Tokens. There are also the Home Furniture & Material Boxes available for 300 tokens which could contain the furniture you need!
This is most likely lost in the comments, but most individuals haven't yet experienced an actual inability to progress. This isn't a complaining rant, my inability to progress past level 15 livingroom for well over a month is an issue that I have dealt with. I cannot also complete the bare minimum daily quests since I cannot upgrade my home furniture or level my home rooms. The drop rate on furniture Epic or above, which id need to get 18,000 points, is insufficient. My issue then is that activity does not really correlate to progression as it should. These types of games reward either by activity or by spending. You either spend to progress, or have to be extremely active in order to progress. I would say I am more active than most, top 35 on LB, but yet I cannot progress. I am stuck, and will continue to be stuck until I magically collect 300 more pillows to upgrade my art to tier 3.
That sucks, I do think the item drop rates are terrible, in beta I could use to level stuff to max and be rewarded a nice amount of tier upgrade items that related to the level, Instead of just one pillow if I recycled
Exactly what KraftDinner said. answering to Harvey- Drop rates for pillows are bad, and getting one every few quests is terribly slow. I’ve been using the gems I earn in game to buy but I’ve only purchased about 30 that way
That's where I'm stuck also, I can't get enough pillows and I'm using all my energy to try to get home decore tokens to spend to, now I don't know how to get my energy up fast enough.
You are the only person here saying with rl money, after you theoretically recycled an essential furniture after it told you a warning that it could affect your progression (assuming by your excited tone you are the original poster and have renamed). You replace your furniture with Home Decor tokens, which are gained by trading in materials from Collabs at the Materials Market in the furniture section (where it says Wits Box, Charm Box, Luck Box, etc.) After that, further down in the furniture store are three pieces of furniture you can trade those tokens for to gain specifically what you want/need. If upgrade materials and only sometimes furniture is what you want, then the Home Furnishings and Material Box (for 300 tokens) is what you want instead - and what people normally get. Either can get you out without "paying to play", in spite of you making a decision the game warned you about.
I’m not the OP 🙄 recycling a specific piece of furniture gives you one lousy material needed for tiering up furniture… the 300 tokens gives me sweet fck all … I could progress if I spent money! 😁
This tbh. I still need 500 more pillows ever since official launch. Been stagnant since. You'd think the amount of effort, wins or time you spend on the game would account for something significant towards your progression but nope. At this rate, if nothing changes with the rewards systems, the only way to progress is spending real money which is a hard pass for me
You make a good point about the spending real money. I’ve been struggling getting the boards for the kitchen levelling, I’ve gone up like 6 boards since the crossover even started and I had to buy them with gems. Drop rates are practically none existent for the items you need especially since I’ve collected everything to level through 13-14 but still not once got the pieces I need.
