Love, before anything else, must be desinterested. The exact opposite of selfishness, jealousy and possessivity. To love, just because it's the most powerful feeling in the world, even if it's without any hope of being loved in return. As James Barrie so rightly wrote, "even love unreturned has its rainbow". Love is a miracle. Too many people don't seem to be able to truly love, unselfishly. And what means a life spent without having been able to love someone, at least once ? Nothing. For me, I had few crushes but only one true love. It will forever be the most beautiful ray of sunshine in my sky. All the colours of the rainbow, for I'm a one woman's woman. Proudly.
